Little more to report:

1. Long Island: Little damage from wind, but strong sea surge. 14 inches of water and mud in the Church building. One door blown off. Aunt Jessima lost her banana farm again as she did 5 years ago. She was also flooded. She and late husband gave the land for the building and live next door. Got first call in about 10 minutes ago to Sister Burrows.

2. Exuma: No communication, but Sister Burrows in Long indicated that they had less wind than Long, Do not know about storm surge.

3. No word from Cat Island, but assume heavy wind and surge damage. Phones still out at Deveaux home.

3. Lincoln ok, but no more word as phone out again. Heard from him two days ago.

4. Abaco assumed to be flooded with some structural damage. Pictures that have emerged showed only the shacks of the very poor in one flooded section known as The Mud .

5. Nassau: Got a brief e-mail from Brother Miller. No power or phone. He was able to get internet to work a little from his son's computer with a generator. Brethren seem to be doing as well as can be expected.

6. Freeport radio back on the air. Much flooding and damage. The people are showing a lot of strength and plan to rebuild and recover. No direct contact with Brethren yet. Still trying every day.

Florida: Little power, some phones, long lines for water, ice, and MRE's. (Meals Ready to Eat) (4 to 7 hours). Fema and others rolling in today to try and get more help going. Dinah and I spent yesterday between rain and tornado bands cleaning up and doing repairs. One tornado touched down about a half block from our house and then turned left and moved over to the next street and then turned right and headed north for about 10 miles. People in Florida are working hard and helping each other. 80 arrests yesterday in our county for Curfew violations. They are in jail without bail until courts re -open. Authorities say if you are caught bring your toothbrush and teddy bear as it will be a long haul.

Cayman Islands: Sister Ella Mae Bothwell is finally recovering at home and on a walker after 3 months bout in Miami hospital with some kind of immune system problem. She was taken to Miami in June by air ambulance. Pray for her. She and Mac donated land for buildings in Cayman and have been pillars of the Church.

Victoria Fraasa had her cancer surgery and is now doing Chemo. She and Steve did our Flying Preacher video. Pray for her as well.

Will get out more as information come available.

If you want to help with money, we will need it as soon as flooded airports open again and Ivan the Terrible does it's thing.
