About The Bahamas Mission

An Outreach of the Gulf Coast Church of Christ

More than twenty-five years ago we joined in a 25 year thrust to have New Testament Christians in every settlement scattered on the 700 Islands of the Bahamas. The task of reaching out to a Nation separated by ocean and isolation is unique. Daily activities are varied and at times dangerous. Much hard work and a remarkable team effort has been richly rewarded. Twelve new congregations have been established, and more than 2000 have been baptized. These are some of the programs serving as stepping stones to achievement.
